Practical Experience:
I have been a business consultant since 1998. Prior to becoming an independent contractor, I played a key role in building the accounting and operational foundations of a successful Bay Area company. During my first three years with this company, sales grew from $100,000 to over $64 million. This rapid growth and dynamic work environment provided me with intensive experience in accounting and operations management, new product development and implementation, project management, marketing plan development, and 1099 Compliance expertise.

Since starting my own QuickBooks consulting company, I have worked with many different types of business sectors including service and contractor, wholesaling, importing and distributing. My clients have ranged from electrical contractors and temporary employment agencies, to fitness studios and importers of men's grooming products.

Education:
I graduated from the University of Utah, College of Business in 1989 with a Finance degree. I take continuing education classes from local colleges to keep my education current. Most recently, I completed a Managerial Accounting course at Santa Rosa Junior College, attended H&R Block’s Income Tax Preparation Course, and certified as a licensed QuickBooks Pro Advisor.

Community:
I have been a volunteer at The Marine Mammal Center for over 3 years. I am on the Tuesday Day Crew Animal Care Team, I assist the Stranding Department with animal rescues and releases, and I was Chair of the 2004 Run for the Seals footrace.
